Ok its not a Mini but just had to post here for any Aberdeen Mini Owners that need wheels refurbed.

I managed to get a spare set of Rays alloys for the Z and wanted to do something a little different so on the recommendation of another Z'er I took them to Motorwerks in Aberdeen who did this to them

So thats black chrome centre with a chrome lip (picture doesnt really do it justice).

Motorwerks were fantastic, they took the tyres off the wheels and reinstalled and balanced them when the wheels came back from the powdercoater and then fitted them (along with my spacers) to the car.

If anyone in Aberdeen needs wheels refurbing or just wants something "different" doing to them then I cant recommend them highly enough :yes nod:

Niiiiiice!

If you don't mind me asking - what did they charge you per wheel? & did they remove the tyres etc for you too?

Al, cause it was the black chrome it was EXPENSIVE, but for a standard anthracite or something like that I think it was about 260 for the four and yes they take the tyres off and put them back on etc, I also got my spacers fitted for "free" :)

If you want a look at them nip round to my work one day Al

Keep thinking about getting the kerbed one refinished (wasn't me;)), that's if I decided to keep my alloys. Think he quoted me £60 for the one.
