Your collies look brilliant Dogfather - when I get settled into a house a I will defo be after a collie :D

Do they take much more effort to keep over you standard lab? I've only ever handled out door collies (i.e. trained sheep dogs!)

Yes, but if you're active then they are so bad. They need lots of exercise and things to do. If they haven't got a job they invent their own and it might not be something you'll be happy with.

Our two dogs - Chloe ( Golden Dooddle - Golden Retriever & Standard Poodle mix ) & Chaos ( Labra Doodle - Black Lab & Standard Poodle mix ). We got the Doodles because our youngest son is very allergic to dog dander. Sorry for the low res pics - better ones coming soon!!

This is Tia our staffie, the above pic of her was @ 24 weeks old and weighing at 15kg!

she is now 10 months old and i think she is over 20kgs and for her age she is a very strong puppy!! :eek:


we picked her up for free home at 16 weeks and we are the 3rd owners! she never had any injections or nout.

The last owner got her for her daughters xmas and got bored :thud:

:blush: when we go to Allanwater Cafe in BofA we buy four small cones for each one of the dogs, they never seem to suffer from brain freeze at the rate they eat the ice cream and love the wafer cones.;)
