A while ago I posted up about the really cheap Olympus E420, well this weekend I stumbled across another bargain that would suit this camera. The Dixon/Curry's group are doing a 40 - 150 lens (which is 80 - 300 equivalent) for £80. Cheapest I found this elsewhere is about £190.

I have the E410 with that lens - it is GREAT!!!! But once you have the lens... then you need the more powerful flash, the built in just won't cut it. It is a never ending cycle.....:thumbs up:

I did notice the flash was a bit poo with the new lens, mind you I've only spent £280 and I've got a decent(ish) 4:3 DSLR with an extra lens.

The E-410 / 420 is a great DSLR for the $$ - and you can adjust the settings to really get great photos ( turn off the "noise" filter ).

I ended up getting a FL-36 flash for mine - works great!!! I almost got the FL-50 but it was alot more $$$

Good luck & enjoy it!!!
