Apologies for the link but they just covered a Ferrari in stretchy paint that goes on like vinyl. Be good to have stripes done on it or graphics as you get a near paint finish with clear coat……….
"It has true mettallic and pearl finishes and it like real paint (which it is) http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif responds exceptionally to a skilled detailer.
We will be making this available on a wholesale basis to number of Vinyl Wrap operations but heres the kicker this product also has Architectural and general interior applications which in the medium term opens whole new markets up for wrappers and potentially detailers."

I think this would probably cost as much as a spray, I think in our economic climate you could get a spray job for around the 4K mark, maybe. I am sure you could haggle...think there is a thread about it that:Whistle:

I think i will need to get a new car rather than a respray or painting it. Just really like white cars when they are clean. Looks better than any other colour, in my opinion

You would be mad not to take it, this is one nice looking car. My neighbour just got a brand new golf, in white. The first thing i said to him was, "why did you not get a scirocco".

But it is a GP. If it was a standard S or even a JCW ok, but not to a special edition.
Does look awesome. Is it paint or vinyl do you know?

Pretty sure it was paint, there was a GP on display which was also repainted ...wait for it ... .... ...in matt black!!! I kid you not, I didn't even bother taking a photo it was that wrong :moonie:
But the white one in my photo has been done VERY well and has had a lot done to it too, not everybodys cup of tea but it was mine :yes nod: I loved it.

There is something wrong with doing this to a gp. The car is awesome no doubts, but the GP was a special edition. I think modding is a part of owning a mini, but i think there are certain editions you just can't, sorry should'nt, do things to.

I "think" it was maybe Vinyl. Ryan, Stoney and myself spent a good 5 minutes having a look around it and we were sure there were a few edges in places.
Beautiful car though :D
All the GP's together were impressive....but this one was the best looking, hands down!!
