Sounds an awesome route you will be taking. Where you planning your stopovers for?Currently we only have a hotel at Folkestone and one hotel in Barcelona booked, all the rest will be as the mood takes us :thumbs up:
3 nights in Barcelona
We have to do 300 miles every day so, we will see where we stop for lunch etc and decide on the final rest stop every day, then plug in an Ibis hotel on the sat nav and hole up for the night

Can highly recommend the Tarn gorge, near Milau - loads of wee villages up there as well to stay in. And a really wierd Vulture bird centre as well (Vulturama!). Did it in the Mini, cracking roads.

At least the weather should be good in Spain.......not like Le Mans last weekend:rolleyes:
Rooting for Melandri on the Hayate (Kawasaki) lets have a nother podium lad:clap:
Getting interesting at the top tho Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo and wee Pedrosa all in with a shout. The 2 Spaniards, Lorenzo and Pedrosa will be going for it and Vale will be trying to banish last weeks result with a win so all in all should be a cracker:thumbs up:

This is not a bad route you could follow, similar to the one I did.

We stayed in Wissant, about 30 minutes from Calais for our first night, Le Vivier is superb food but the hotel is somewhat quirky (I'd stay somewhere else tbh!)
Another good hotel was Le Diderot in Chinon - awesome home made jam for breakfast, and plenty of decent local wine.
Will try and remember where we stayed in the Tarn - we just rocked up and asked to see rooms and didn't pay more than 50 euros a night.

It's a bit long winded I'll agree! the Massif central is awesome though, I'd be getting there via the Dordoyne as quick as I could if I were you.

That looks like an awesome trip & taking in some top track action while you're at it...I'm very very green with envy just now :bigwave:
My folks drive to Italy every year, taking different routes each time they must have done it for about 16 years on the trot....they put around 6000 miles on their car over the month that they're away.
Enjoy :thumbs up:

looks like it will loads of fun:thumbs up: but on a motorbike:frown::frown:That's what makes it fun, the biking community is very strong and the banter is fantastic, much like the MINI scene, but, much bigger ;)
