Went to see it today. If you don't want to know what happens stop reading now.

Have not read the book, but the three of us went to see it at the pics today. Man it was really sad, usually films like that have a sad wee 5 mins at the end, but I was crying for the last half hour:sad: (it's Lesley here BTW). Jason and Kerr also had a wee tear in their eye.

Great film if you like dogs, but I will not be watching it again. When I caught sight of myself in the mirror in the toilets, puffy eyes, red nose I realised that I did not want to see it again. I had to stop myself from sobbing!! But when I looked at the other ladies in the ladies they were all the same:frown:

Duke got an extra big hug when we got home.

Lenore and I went to see it just after it was released. Big mistake. Had no idea how it ended. When Marley started to limp going into their new house Lenore and I looked at each other and realised - "oh sh!t, this is the FULL life story of the dog - including the end.":blush:

We spent the next 20 mins bubbling our eyes out.:blush:

We lost Minstral 6 months ago, but the feelings are still very strong.

NOT one to buy on DVD - will never watch again.
