Bilt Hamber Auto Clay

Polish

Meguairs G220 DA Polisher

Meguiars #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish
Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze

Meguairs Soft Buff 2.0 Cutting Pad
Meguairs Soft Buff 2.0 Polishing Pad
Meguairs Soft Buff 2.0 Finishing Pad

Glaze and Sealant

Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze With Acrylic Shine
Jetseal 109

WAX/LSP

Roof - DoDo Purple Haze
Body = DoDo Supernatural

Wheels

Chemical Guys Speed Wipe and Streak Free Quickshine

Tyres - Blackwow.

Washed the car and rinsed.
then using water only as the lubricant used the BH autoclay. Best clay bar I've used so far holds up much better than the Meguiars and Sonus (green) that i've used in the past.

Dried the car then gave it a blast with the air gun thing. Allan took front and rear light rings off and the side indicator scuttles.

We both taped the car up.

I didn't get involved after this point.

Allan then DA polished the car. First time he has done this.

It's not up to the same mark as a professional that's for sure but we both felt what was done this time round was a learning curve, it certainly makes for a much better job than polishing by hand and gives a better foundation for applying the products that make the paint pop. Still got a long way to go learning re paint correction and that kinda stuff but I'm chuffed this far.

Not to bore you all to death

so quickly on to the car being QD down after the day spent with DA polisher glaze being applied then the jetseal followed.

Then on to the wax applied yesterday and again this morning. Supernatural rocks by the way:thumbs up:

I then done Wheels with QD and thought I would try some blackwow on the tyres windows done leather done interior plastic done blah blah blah.

Results not bad reflection (which is difficult to capture) for the pepper white colour imho of course.

and the best till last. not only good reflection shot but also lets you see just how crisp and clean the paint is as smooth as a babies bottom imho.

Oh and I took this pictures just so you can see how quickly dust can land on the car which is why I hate detailing outside although it gets in the garage to.

I always have my zymol california duster to hand and would recommend it to anyone great for giving the car a wee dust down (won't scratch) every few minutes while detailing.

only because we wanted to layer the wax leaving 24 hours between each layer or it would have taken 2 and a bit days.;)

Looks very nice indeed Fi. Great reflection, considering it's pepper white. Like you say, you can really see how smooth the paintwork has gone.

Top job.:thumbs up:

Plastidip seems to be doing well at the moment.

Typically today a crow decided to dump his load all over my car.:frown::frown:
