Visited the Knockhill Motor show over the weekend and it was great! First public showing of the new Astra and V8 Monaro. It's based on the Holden SV and is actually built by them in Oz and shipped over here. It's a beast to say the least. There was plenty of other exotic stuff too with Ferrari 355's and TVR's thrashing round the track and even the Ferrari 360 LM team were there. MG's new XPower car was there along with a gorgous Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Thunderdome V8 Nissan Primera!

Here's some of the good pictures and my dad (Big Gordy)with the XBox Mini promo girl :approve:

Monaro was fast and mostly sideways...

Why do you think I've a big smile on ma face Willie ;) (her hands were cold I can tell you :clown:)
We tried to get a picture of the lovely young ladeeeeee from behind as at the bottom of her jacket were the words 'win my mini' Now whether they refered to those fine automobiles we all love or the very short skirt she was wearing I never got round to asking I'm afraid, but there you go :p:D:approve:

Great pics Ross but ain't it always the same. Everytime you see an Elise or a VX220 there's some old bald guy in it having a midlife crisis. :p

Just you wait young un  If only the lift was working I'd come up and get you ;) And my crisis hasn't been reserved for mid life by the way :p:D:approve:

Cheers guys. I took loads of pictures (72 I think....:approve:) but I thought that might be a bit much for those of us lucky enough to be on snail band

As far as the midlife crisis goes I don't think it's quite here yet even though he was eying up not only the VX220 (and the mini girls of course) but the Monaro too. (But I still can't convince him to buy that nice big KTM motocrosser )

Better hope the lift stays broken then (the stairs are an option but that might cause too much of a crisis :p)

HEY:eek: I thought YOU were buying ME the KTM when you go offshore and earn those big bucks ;) Anyway your mum would go nuts if I bought yet another motocrosser :p She says I can't use all 3 I have just now at one time so why do I need another one. Wimmin huh they just don't get it do they <goes of to hide in the garage with his bikes>:p:D:approve:

Well lets see.
1965 500cc Triumph Metisse Scrambler (in bits in the loft)
1965 500cc Triumph Cotton Scrambler (Current 2003 Scottish Pre65 Champ)
1977 XT500 Yamaha Trail bike converted to motocrosser
1967 500cc Triumph Tiger 100 currently on long term loan to my brother in London ie don't know if I'll ever get it back ;)
My dad has 2 - 250cc DOT's one scrambler, one trials
I think thats it - for now any way ;) but like Ross says I have a mad desire for a big modern 'thumper' (Yamaha,KTM,Honda,TDM,Husaberg or Husky) But the missus would really go nuts if I spent 6 grand on one :( Know what I mean ;)
