Hi All,

Thought I would just say Hello and introduce myself. I'm on Mini No 12, although it's the first I've had in 10 years. Although it's not a new one, I love being back in the seat of a Mini. It's a 1971 1275GT, fully restored, with original 10" rostyles and recovered seats by Newton Commercial.

I was asked to join by "Craig" who has taken me for a spin in C10CAD. What a machine. I love it!!! Maybe once this GT is paid off, I'll be able to buy a new Mini. Until then, I hope you don't mind me joining in, even though I've got a classic.

PS If any of you has a K&N filter for an old 1&3/4" SU carb in the back of your garage, let me know as I'm looking for one. Cheers.

I knew i had seen 1275 GT somewhere recently, its in Modern Mini they want one for a temp exhibition for 50th anniversary celebration at Haynes International Motor Museum

I will try and get some pics uploaded when I have a minute. I'm from Kincardine, although I work in Stirling beside Craig (for my sins ya dobber!)

Will try and get up to speed on the forum and find out when there's a run.

Went out for my first run ever today with the clan. Couple of new minis there that were very nice indeed. One in particular, a JCW's GP edition. Lurvely
