Advising Insurance

Hi all

Never had a car that I have added bits to before :)

When adding the likes of the S style fuel cap and shark fin indicators, do I need to advise the insurance?

I suppose I would have to in the event someone damages the car when trying to access them.

For the mods you have suggested here i doubt if your insurance would increase, having said that i would inform them anyway.
If you had an incident and the bits you mentioned were damaged then they would only be replaced with BMW parts

Thanks for that. I had assumed that there would be no increase in premium but agree it would be best to advise them anyway.
