with all the talk of snow I decided to have a look at some of my old pics and share them with you.
not having a scanner anymore I took pics of the photos not the best and to really get an idea of how much snow there was you have to see the originals pics,

If only they had the cameras then that we have now.

These were taken 4 1/2 mile up the hill outside Dunblane at a place called Dalbrack the house was on the side of a moor and we had the ardoch river running past the house.

You couldn't have waited for the terrier to stock ****ing his leg before pressing the shutter though?:laugh::frown:

Great pics! makes me remember the winter we moved into Mum n dad's current house, must have been about 28 years ago too :blush: Probably the same winter.. lol
We couldn't get the car down the street, we had about 2 1/2 feet of snow. I was about 8 lol, little bruv was 5.. Best. winter. Ever!!! :laugh::laugh::D:D

Thanks :thumbs up: it was indeed. These are early pics of the house before dad built the new bridge and then the stables etc etc.

at times it could reach -25c to -35c which was chilly.:cool:

Im only 27 so cant remember 28 years ago. great pics! they were the days, snowy winters and hot summers:cool:
