So frustrated, currently have a project through uni working for a pretty well known music magazine. We have to create a viral advertising campaign and we are going down a similar route to flash mobbing like the T-Mobile adverts.

We have struck huge issues with getting permission to film though... can't use a council balcony to film from without health and safety assessment and telling them how many people will be standing on it. Red tape gone mad!! :p:rolleyes:

Anyway feel better for venting my frustration :thumbs up:

Anybody have any favorite adverts?

My favourite is very old - the smash ads. Thought they were good back then and even better now when looking at some of today's pitiful offerings.

Brillian Ad Baz. Never seen that before. I wonder how many - if any - of those were genuine members of the public.

Last year I was going to video a speech by the author Lee Child at his book launch in Edinburgh. I asked permission from the bookstore a few weeks in advance and they said, sure, no problem. But! I must have public liability insurance in case I drop the camera on someone and I must have the written permission of everyone attending that they agree to be videotapes - even though I was only going to video tape Lee.

World's gone mad.:ragin:
