in black from Mini Pirate for Allan to fit. Only costing about £12 so not to bad if he buggers it up. I might have a wee word with Carlo to see if he can offer some advice on how best to do the job.;)

Belt line is the chrome line under the windows

It's ok, you weren't alone. I wasn't 100% sure either but didn't want to admit it :blush::laugh::Whistle:

Did Zimbo not do this to his red Cooper D as well. It looked pretty good.

Im sure the black belt line is going to be a factory option from about March 2009

Aye that might look quite good on the right colour of MINI.:cool:

One of the Young Pup's did this with a some black insulation tape as an experiment IIRC. Not sure if he ripped it off again though.

Aye I did it with electrical tape but ripped it off. Now have 12mm pinstripe tape from halfords £4:thumbs up:

Perfect size for r50/53

Was thinking of doing this myself, was wondering though that when i wash it if it would stay on??

yeh looks good (imo anyway). Does come off at the ends after several washes but for £4 just buy some more :D

Only comes off after around 10 washes, not majorly though. The ends just start lifting
