Good point. I never thought of it like that. What engines do the 1.6 R56 coopers have? I know the 1.4 R56 ONE has a peugeot engine doesn't it?

Classics do look good. Looking at Gismos classic always makes me want one, but when I look I can never find one I want (or as good). Ah well, spent the money now.

Yeah, me too. Once we move into our next house with double garage I'll be on the lookout for one - whether it's built at Zcars or I buy the kit depends if I can save the £15k that Chris Allanson's asking for the 'Busa engined examples  The sound is exquisite but I think having to change the clutch so regularly puts me off - pretty sure the Honda VTEC in the rear would be bulletproof fun :yes nod::D

the z cars package works well i feel can be driven in rage or as a get you a-b style. Mine has only needed one clutch so far..... it has done about 2,500 miles.

Only thing i would say is DYNAMAT sound proofing is the future.

sequential box is magic changing gear without lifting off accelerator.

2,500 miles :thud:. Yikes. I thought I was bad having to replace it in my old Brava after 55,000.
