I heard on the radio to the mini factory is taking an extended break at xmas due orders being 40 % down on last year

As much as it will hit the guys on the shop floor, 'cos who knows if they will be paid over this break, it may help residuals of MINI's, 'cos if there's no production, anyone ordering a MINI from mid November onwards, will have an extended wait.

the 40% drop is for the month of Oct only compared to Oct last year. It says their 2 week holiday at Xmas has been extended to 4 weeks.. :eek:

Yup,there not building any more until they have moved all the cars they have. I put it down to poor salesman.lol

Workers pay will not be affected with the shutdown. They will still get full pay the Union confirmed.

Yeah I agree its deffo the poor salesman (men) much better with Sales Women! :clap:
