Man goes into a bar, sits down, orders a drink, the barman brings it along with a small bowl of peanuts. Man thinks he hears a small voice telling him he is looking very handsome tonight, looks around, no-one nearby. Again, he hears a tiny wee voice, this voice telling him he looks as if he's lost some weight, asking has he
been working out ?
He looks around, there's definitely no-one around. Now seriously nervous, he returns to his drink, only to hear the same tiny voice saying how smartly dressed he is. He gives in, and beckons the barman over:
"Look, is this place haunted ? I keep hearing somebody talking to me, telling me nice things about myself, what on earth is going on ?"
The barman replies,
"That's OK, don't worry about it, that'll just be the complimentary nuts!"
