My Mini days are over.

Thats it, the Mini has gone. Really been with out it for 5 months as it sat in the drive way.

Told the new owner of this site and left my NMS sticker in the window.

No regrets though guys. Get my kicks from bikes but Justine is looking at a 1.4 TSI Golf

Dont snigger this is a 1.4 GT TSI, Supercharged, then turbo charged Golf pushing out 170 BHP which is apparently very modest. these are requlary on the dyno at 190 bhp in standard trim.

Great fuel economy and decent tax and so on.....but damned fast.

I will swing by once in a while but can only say a big thanks to everyone here for their advice and banter. It is without doubt one of the best places for advice and banter around.

Alot of site could learn a few things from NMS

Slightly off topic, but how is the golf?

I've been told with the compound charging, they do actually guzzle the fuel a bit?

I reckon it'd be interesting to see how the port spacings compare with say,the 2.0 engine, and if they manifolds are compatible, and if the charger pulley and bracket are easily interchangeable
