sounds like tar.. but I will be along at Falkirk tonight so might have a quick look. Could be a bit of paint, but that should normally come off with some tar remover...

I'll bring some stuff with me.. ;)

I had the same problem when I has my pepper white. It was really annoying. I resorted to T-Cut and then a proper polish. It did work.

If tar remover doesnt work then try a very light-mild clay with plenty of detailing spray to act as a lube. You can get the mequiars clay kit from the likes of halfords for about £15-20.

I found the best thing is white spirit ( just a small bit on cloth) once the tar is off just wash with warm soapy water. Gets it perfect every time.

Remember to re-wax your car after you use tar remover as this will probably remove most of the wax.

I use Tardis to remove tar spots if that doesn’t work then I use clay.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
And if the brillo pad doesnt do it then a 4" grinder with a grinding stone should do the trick
:D:D

Crombers seems to have taken over Angus's old mantle of "wind up merchant"... well he is catching him up age wise... :moonie:;);bigwave:
