Hi.......I have a 05 cooper s on the centre of the dash board shelf close to the windscreen is a redish/purple bulb like nob ??? does anyone know what this is....thought it might be a sensor for lights etc ??:confused:

Beware the purple-nurple - LOL

I think it is part of the climate control system - something about UV sensor??? My 04 S had it and it did not have the auto headlights.
