Hey everyone,

Recently added a new group for all the GP owners out there in bonnie Scotland (and beyond!)

If I get a good enough response, I will be putting together a proper club and site, so give me a shout if your interested!

You can find the club in the Quick Links tab at the top of the page under Social Groups named GP Owners Club or stick the link below in your browser:

http://www.newminiscotland.co.uk/forums/group.php?groupid=15

Cheers guys and hope to hear from you soon!!!

There is one for sale in a garage next to Kinross (Milnathort Motor Company)
I went to view the car and had a feeling it had been in a crash, returned
with a mate and he said it has been bumped panel gap was not right and cataloy (not right spelling) dust everywhere :eek::eek: so keep away:frown::frown:

Yes I also went to view that car with the intention of buying it about 6 months ago. Had the deposit in my back pocket. Very excited by the price and the number that was included with it. Looked at the front and walked straight away from it. The scuttle panel is still bent. Also looked like the engine had been lifted out as there were tell tale marks around the engine mounts. Overspray all over the side as well. I mentioned to the guy and he said 'oh its had a wee bit paint but that is all'.

I then popped up to JC Aberdeen as they had 2 for sale about 6 months ago, took a test drive and quite liked it but the other half was not so keen as only 2 seats. Bought the 130 instead.

Seen a pic on another forum with a GP fitted with back seats(there you go BS:thumbs up:)There is a thread on MINI2 with a fitting kit with the parts named that you need.
But, for me it would spoil the car, the GP is meant to have 2 seats :thumbs up:

My god Bonnie Scotland - you are so right - adding back seats to a GP is like adding mayonnaise to chocolate cake! It just isn't right! lol

Off to destroy that thread on MINI2 lol :argh:

The one with 4500 odd miles was the one I test drove and was going to buy back in April so they have had it in stock for a wee while.

There is one with 50 miles for sale on autotrader at the moment for £19995 which doesnt seem unreasonable

GP06 BUZ was sold and then traded back in as the owner was pregnant.

I would defo proceed with caution on that car.

If it was my money then I wouldnt be buying it. There is another GP for the same money for sale down south. Perhaps its not been up a tree and would make a better purchase.
