View Full Version : Sept Aberdeen Meet
Forbes

Just want to see who would be up for a Sept Aberdeen Meet. Thinking of possibly the Sat 13th as many were mentioning they wouldn't mind a proper drive. I also realise that this is the same night as Dundee Cruise so the guys going to that can seperate. So i am suggesting a morning meet time, head out towards Braemar and Ballater, food, pics, drive, then split up so guys going to Dundee have plenty of time to get down and clean up there cars:thumbs up:
Please only guys who might go on the run vote
So for now i will say:
Startpoint: Sainsbury's Garthdee
Time: 11am
Date 13/9/08

Don't worry i struggle with the Ss until they reach the speed limits. Don't carry passengers - but that would be cruel

can i just say if you start at asda garthdee you can go along the south deeside road which is a much better road and takes you all the way to ballater or you can cut across onto the main road whenever you want.
just a thought.:thumbs up:

Sadly no names yet from down South, where has the effort gone?Well, you asked only for folks who can attend and you have not decided on an actual date yet
In any case, Saturday's are not good for me.
Once you've settled on a date i'll sticky the thread for you :computer:

Changes made - Sorry ain't checked the thread recently
Plan is to meet at Sainsbury's Garthdee and out on the South Deeside road towards Banchory, then Ballater and Braemar. Get some lunch in say Braemar (most have voted restraunt so far). Then take in some of the roads there get a few pics (annoy the Gismo man by sending them all to him for the calender). Then mid afternoon split up as certainly i am going to the Dundee Cruise in the evening, another thread run by Ryan K, but sure some will come along to that and others may have other commitments.
But this is not like other runs, this will be as the wind takes us with no run notes, but can trade phone numbers as someone is bound to get lost (probably me:blush:).
Also i feel we would need a few more cars to make this worthwhile

I will probably be there...providing its dry!
Also I need time to clean the car before heading down to Dundee ;bigwave: (is this the 'gay' smiley?)
