Excellent stuff.
While in that web site I read the article on the Diesel sound on start up (R56problem) and watched the couple of videos. Thank heavens my car has never sounded like that. Also the rushing water sound would drive anyone mad. Graig, if that's what you had I really do sympathise

yeah Malcolm,

I had both faults on both cars and MINI could not find a fix for them both. MINI thought this was acceptable, I didn't and it's why I no longer have an R56 (along with numerous other problems with the cars) and to be honest have little faith in the model until I know that the problems have been ironed out. :frown::eyes up::frown:
