Hello - I'm new! :)

Just ordered my MCS from Menzies MINI in Stirling - HOORAY! :D

My first car was a wee white 1L original Mini and I've been waiting YEARS to have another one ...and I think the new ones are brilliant!

My dream machine is due mid-April - the waiting is killing me!

I'VE SEEN MY MINI!!! :D

It arrived at the dealership yesterday (so I had to go and see it, of course!). I won't be able to collect it until next week (due to all the dealer-fit options) but it was fantastic to sit in my MINI for the first time!

It really was amazing to see it for the first time - a car that was basically built just for me! (this is my first new car, rather than second hand). I'm totally happy with the spec I ordered too, now that I've actually seen it (got the anthracite dash and blue leather - goes really well) ...which is nice! :p

I washed it yesterday for the first time! ...by hand of course! (the wheels are white again!). Amazing for me - my downstairs neighbour (who has virtually ignored me since I moved in 3 years ago!) started a conversation about the MINI (and pointed out that he never saw me washing my old Polo!:D). And I had lots of waves from other MINIs from the moment I drove out of the dealership. :cool: Amazing the reactions MINIs get!!! :)
