I see that Superchips now have the R56 Cooper D listed on their site.
Figures quoted would mean a increase to 130bhp and 282NM of Torque see below.

Hopefully this will mean that a remap from other companies is not to far away as I don't fancy going down the Superchips road from previous experience.
The torque would be rather nice. at 282:cool:

Original bhp : 110
Original nm : 240
BHP increase : 20
NM gain : 42
Lb/Ft gain : 31

surely this means that it will be available the bluefin way as it is the same company ?

If you look at Superchips Scotland in Glenrothes, they are quoting the same figures and price as getting the Bluefin from Lohen... surely it is just the same thing and not "a chip" as you seem to be concerned about.. :eyes up:

Sure did. Got the V10 Touareg chipped. The V10 has 2 ECU's. I had a problem with the Treg one ECU stopped talking to the other and because Superchips have to open up the ECU on the VW, VW could tell the car had been chipped and it ended up costing me 2k to get the ECU's replace. Hence why I will only go for a remap via the OBD port.

Why would you want to chip a V10 4x4?

Was there anything wrong with it without warranty busting remap?

Good for you

However, it seems a BIG risk to me to tamper with such an expensive car :hand:

Still, you learned an expensive lesson
