3 months have passed so I'm doing a complete detail on my Mini.

WITHOUT ALLANS HELP.

Starting with a fairy liquid wash.

Hopefully the weather will be good tomorrow.

I will post pics once complete.

I believe us women to be better detailers than any guy.

Who knows best on how to use a duster??

who knows how to leave the sink and shower all nice and clean and shiny

Who makes the better job of cleaning the house??

Who notices all the missed bits.??

It's the wee jobs the fine detail that guys forget about.

you dont wont to be washing your car with fairy liquid cos it contains a substance that removes the pretective layer on your paint which is not good.:frown:
that just prooves that when it comes to cleaning cars blokes are better:yes nod:

I think men are better detailers!:frown:

Jason was away last weekend and I tackled the car. Thought I done a great job and then I noticed the black bits. A blinking mess, all streaky.

Jason sorted yesterday.

Sorry Fi. but we are better at housework and weeding!

I heard Fairy was very alkaline and can rust your car and not to use it. Would clay not be better to get "stripped" with?

you may be right.

been reading on DW that fairy will strip some of the previous applications from the car but not all of it also read in the same thread that the clay bar has the same result. To remove the previous applications you need to use a paint cleanser, which luckily I did. :thumbs up:
