Well, Jude is again doing the Race for Life this year in Stirling on Sunday 15th June 2008. This is her 4th year on the trot. :)

She normally does it to give something back to Cancer Research who have helped her mother over the years as she has had breast cancer twice and is currently battling secondary bone cancer.. It's also been a hard year already for one of Judes friends who has lost her mother to cancer.

Jude would be really thankful if any of you would be able to spare a pound or two to sponsor her for this worthwhile cause. I am also volunteering for the day at Stirling doing marshalling :thumbs up:

If you would like to sponsor Jude, just PM us please and we can make arrangements, or you can give Jude money at any run/meet beforehand.

For those that know Jude and know how she battles with her health, this is no easy thing for her to undertake..;)

Thanks for reading.

Had to get Craig to do the technical bit:computer:. Many thanks again to everyone who sponsored me.:thumbs up::thumbs up: Between Natalie and myself we raised £242. There were 2700 runners and it's easy to become complacent about why we're all there but I bumped into a friend on friday who recently lost her mum to the same strain of cancer my mum is currently fighting. It certainly brought it home for me. My niece loved the whole experience and tells me she'll be there again next year. Started to worry when she mentioned costumes:thud:
