V5 Advice

Hi Folks
I sold a bike today, got the bus home and on my return re-alised I have lost the completed V5.

What do I do?

a school boy error, I know where the buyer lives etc...

If you cant find the signed slip, re-apply for a new copy

I would just phone your local DVLA office and tell them. They will send a form out to you to fill in with the new keepers details. Should be that straight forward.. (or thats what I did a few years ago when I lost a V5 in moving house..) ;)
