I have have happened by chance to find a guy in Larbert who refurbs Alloys and also offers puncture prevention Gel at £10 per wheel.

What is this gel and is that a good price.

Wul used to swear by puncture prevention type stuff in every car he bought, sadly, he aint been on the site recently  so won't be offering any advice, maybe PM him
The price sounds reasonable to me

I remember that Wul used it. I emailed the guy he said it takes about 1hour to do. He said if I had TPM's fitted then they can't do it. Well I have the run flat monitor fitted so not sure.

However giving it some more thought on other vehicles that I have owned that had TPM's fitted it was a sensor connected to the actual valve and were stuck to the alloy inside the tyre so I'm guessing this is the type he is on about.

MINI's are non TPM, runflats are ok too, not recommended on low profile tyres

I know of a product that we use for the bikers, but ive only had one guy that was a driving instructor come in for it.

The product is called Ultraseal and that forms a gel around the inside of the tyre and prevents punctures before it happens.
