Hello Andy...

Would like a GP but Sharon (wife) is VW GTI daft so we went for a Cooper and a GTI Edition 30.

Is the GP a thirsty beast? The GTI is...:( but it does have oodles of power...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Fuel wise it's not too bad, it does the daily run from Irvine to Glasgow and returns about 32mpg, however if you really wind it up you can see the fuel needle moving:D

It's a bit more depressing that Super Unleaded is about £1.16 a litre by us just now :frown:

Looking forward to doing a few meets this summer if there are any near us...
