Hello

My name is Nam and this is my first post. I actually signed up to NMS ages ago but for some reason it appears that I never introduced myself. I hope you like my very individual Mini called the Mini-Beastie. It has just had its six month birthday and has just turned in 8.5k. So far so good :)

I hope to get along to some meets but we are away for almost all of April as we are taking Mini-Beastie to Europe for my 21st - just planning it now so very excited :D . Any experience that anyone else has of Europe roadtrips would be much appreciated.

Anyway, the car;

There are A TON of runs and meets this year, so get yourself along to one as they are all great fun. People are really friendly... :)

Company car for the weekend - sadly. My husband now has three loves... me, Kelly Brook and the R8 :rolleyes:

Hope to get out on a few runs this year but will look properly when we get back from Europe. We passed one run near Forfar last summer with about 20 or so Minis which looked really cool. I'm not into mentally fast driving though and I have been on a couple of meets with my husband (Matt) with his work where people like to put their foot down so that is the only thing that puts me off. I guess I can always come and see and if we enjoy ourselves we can sign up for another :)

our runs are always within the speed limits and we try to make sure that everyone including the newbie's enjoy themselves. :)

Some of the runs are quicker than others, but just ask and we can get you on a run that you will enjoy and want to come back for more and more.. I drive like miss daisy so my runs are defo some of the slower ones..:rolleyes: :) This is mostly due to my job and not being allowed points on my licence.. ;)

be good to see you on a run. :cool:

A very valid point Nam, we have all levels of drivers on many of the runs, but, there are always excellent notes provided for the route and always plenty of stop areas for folks to regroup.
The runs are at everyones pace and no one is pressured into driving at any specific speed.
The days out are for everyone to enjoy for all the right reasons :)

Hey all

This is Mr RaKy07 ;bigwave:

First of all thank you for the happy birthday for Naomi Gismo Man and apologies for our delay in replying to it. To be fair we were in the Alps when you posted that but must confess to getting back from Europe in early May so can't blame our lack of reply to that!!

Anyhoo, here is a pic outside Mini Rome where we had Wuf's first service carried out...
