Well folks, today is the 4th anniversary of our very first post to New Mini Scotland.:D
We had picked up our R50 Cooper CVT on the 29th December 2004 and were loving the MINI adventures, but always felt a little "alone". Neil & Lorna had picked theirs up the November prior, and we used to go MINIadventuring together, but there always seemed to be something.... missing.:confused:
So at the end of February we stumbled across this site, registered, and promptly signed up for Seany's Arbroath Run.:cool: This was a huge run with over 35 MINI's and although we had a lot of fun, it's fair to say we felt a little like a fart in a spacesuit; no-one seemed to talk to us, and you all know how shy and retiring we are.:o
But we persevered, and got stuck in and low and behold, here we are 4 years on.:D
We're still shy, I still fart:eek: but we love the chats, runs, "Meats" and general camaraderie this site enjoys.:D
The fact is NMS is a huge part of our social calendar these days, and you guys have all helped to make our MINI ownership (4 MINI's and counting!) an extremely enjoyable adventure.:D
