Managed to get our hands on some R105's from our sponsor dealer Eastern, for a bargain. Stuck them on yesterday after two coats of Poorboys Wheel sealant.

These wheels just finish off our R56 look very nicely, IMHO.

Very nice lol yet again biased opinion :p

Me too biased opinion also.... Brill Choice

What does the wheel sealant do... Does it protect the finish? I'm on my second set of R105's as the first set were replaced under warranty due to white bubbling marks appearing under the surface...

I already have some white marks on my new R105'S after only 1 month. I am monitoring the situation and if gets any worse going to get them back into dealership.

Cheers for the comments folks.

Kerbs will be avoided at all costs. I've been well warned. :o

The poorboys wheel sealent is basically a wax. Should keep the brake dust and tar from sticking to tin wheels.

Cheers for the heads-up on the wheels marking.... I will keep an eye out for that.

As for the disks being rusty. Thats the thing with the multi-spoke... They hid a multitude of sins. :)

On a slightly more serious note - I've a nice set of McGuard wheel nuts that would look lovely on those bad boys that I never got round to fitting to my R90's. Offers?

No kerbing.

Kerbing banned in the Poole household.

Kerbing results in withdrawal of sexual favors for some considerable period of time. Therefore, I don't kerb.

Look great Andy - just shows how the R56 on 18's has similarities to the R53 on 17's - I reckon you actually need a 'one size up' wheel on the later model to get the same 'look'. Hope the sealant does its job and I recommend parking at least two feet from any kerbs!

Great wheels.

Brand new - sort of. They were on a showroom car, were driven from the showroom to the workshop/parts department, taken off and sold to us. With a significant discount on the "new" price.
