that looks wicked Baz, does the foam just strip all the dirt off the car without the need for a sponge??

Baz...I use snow foam as well from time to time...

I read somewhere that snow foam can strip wax if over used...so get some advice if you plan to use it every wash.

I use ordinary car shampoo in my foam gun....sometimes add a wee drop snow foam as well...

Hope this helps!

Well its not designed to replace a washmit and bucket but if you are after a quick touchless wash it does a fairly good job on its own.

It is mainly designed to take the bulk of dirt off the car - spray on foam and leave to dwell for 5-10 mins... as the foam runs off you can see it taking the dirt with it.

Therfore it should reduce swirls when washing with the mit.

Re wax stripping i havent noticed any difference, still beads nicely after washing when it starts pissing down

I wax my car once a month anyway as i love it being glossed up, you will rarely see my car dirty haha

So what is it you actually use to make the snow effect? I know you use the Snowfoam product, but how do you get it on the car?

Baz it looks like you have a Karcher pressure washer. We have one too... Is it an attachment for that?

And can you just use your normal shampoo to get the snow effect?

Yeh you need a foam lance but not the karcher one this is mine...

I dare say you could use normal carwash but im unsure of how much it would foam

With snowfoam you use 2-3mm in bottom of the container and fill rest with water. You can also adjust how much foam you want :p

Hope that helps :)

If you want a shampoo that foams up lovely in a foam gun then either Chemical Guys Maxi Suds or Mequiars Hyper Wash. I get the megs stuff from Polished Bliss in Aberdeen.
