Not sure if it will be covered by warrenty but i had the same thingon my Cooper, one side of the heater controls didnt light up, i couldnt find any bulbs to change when i took the thing apart and ended up asking mt Mini dealer who said its a sealed unit and would have to buy the whole heater control panel for arount £100 to fix a little bulb. The light ended up staying out untill i sold the cooper for my S.

sounds like the light on the printed circuit board has gone and as Jim says, it's normally a replacement. Jude had the same fault with her 307 when she had it and it was a replacement panel.:(

If your car is under warranty, I would think it is covered. Worth a phone call. :)
