Booked into Vardy for Wednesday to have the JCW brakes upgrade fitted to the Red MINI.

Brakes are now fitted. Just need to run them in.:D :D

Haha I remember when I had to bed in my AP's. Took a while to get used to what felt like there was no brakes at all

With the upgrade you get new painted red front callipers with JCW logo, new front discs and new pads all round.:cool:

Already they feel more responsive and firmer. Should have them bed in by the end of today so can let loose a bit more, having to be careful just now so it's holding my driving back somewhat.:rolleyes:

I think my JCW Brakes are bedded in now, and oh yes i do feel a big difference in the stopping power compared to the stock items... I like very much :D :D :D

Mind me asking what they charged for it all? I presume you were needing to replace the discs and pads anyway?

Just remember the R56 S's come with the same brakes etc as the JCW upgrade kit for the original ones. The JCW brake upgrade kit for the R56 gives you painted calipers and grooved discs. Not sure you'd notice that much of a differerence in performance.

The red brakes do look lovely though..
