Ah well, put the M3 in for a simple oil service as per the interval requirement, gets a phone call, ah, Mr Mercer, your front discs are under the BMW recommended limit, the two front tyres are shot and you'll need a KDS, you have a broken rear spring :eek:
Can't wait to get the bill for this one :(

Bonnie, if they are doing a KDS just because the spring is broken then they shouldnt be. A KDS should not be required for a broken spring.

Ohh dear:( Remember and sit down when they phone you with the total:eek: I recon if your getting all the stuff through BMW your bill won't be far short of a grand:eek: :eek: :eek:

The KDS is being done cause of the way the front tyres were worn :(

Nightmare mate, how old is the car?

The spring at the back could be a warranty thing, I've heard some of them are prone to breaking.

your not having much luck with motors these days Alan, what with the wee boy, and now the M3..

Sadly the warranty expired last September :( we've had a wee bit of trouble with teh rear right in the past, broken bolt, cracked wishbone

Ooyah, just under £1300 :eek: however, once again, excellent service from John Clark's and a fair bit of discount too :)
The service was £133 :rolleyes:

I had to fork out just over £400 for 2 new front Wishbones on my E46 recently and that was using an indy but using OEM parts.:cool:
