Put on some aero wipers a month or so ago and the passenger side squeaks and annoys the hell out of me.
Good wipers though so I want to keep.
Suggestions please to remove squeaks?

If it's the wiper on the screen that's squeaking, then, clean your windows with windolene and a microfibre cloth.
Or even better, use rain ex

I use the ol' Rain-X meself..
It's great except when it's not raining very heavily, and you're on the motorway with the wipers on intermittent, it sometimes still squeaks on the way up, always fine on the way back down :D

I don't like RainX.
I found that sometimes, if you are not moving, the blades cannot clear moisture properly. Looking into the low sun made it almost impossible to see out of the windscreen.

I'm with Ken on this one, I found it more trouble than it was worth.

my wipers were squeaking like hell!
decided to just buy new ones, only downside is that i bought ones that didnt have a spoiler on drivers side
although they are the new style floppy wipers.. you know like on BMW / Merc / Audi's
amazing, not to mention only cost me £10 and fit like a glove

You need new wipers for RainX to work well.

Where did you get flat wiper blades for £10 please?
I had these on my Golf and fitted one to the Aygo, they are excellent.

I got a set on Eaby...and took them off after 1 week, they did not clear the edges completely due to not coping well with the curve of the windscreen...and that meant the rain sensor on my car got all confused.
So back to the original ones :(
Also found mine were squeaking and jumping across windscreen...

Were they cheap or a known brand?
The one I bought for the Aygo was Valeo, I think.

I get mine from here.
http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/?gclid=CLG7-PCZvZECFQ5vHgodZScQIw
really fast delivery.
I think the Valeo are more curved than the bosch ones and they don't sit so well on the E46
and for the X I got the Trico ones
http://www.tricoproducts.com/
found them to give the best wipe and they are silent work fine with my rain sensors may be down to the shape of the windscreen

Blimey, that is cheap - wish you'd posted that earlier.
Are these flat blades, the ones without the metal brackets? Like this: http://images.newcarnet.co.uk/news_pic1/27-3_AerotwinBlade_1628.jpg

I just got flat ones put on today. Ordered them through Fiona's link. Was £18 for the two. No idea yet how well they will work but they do look snug on the screen.

The ones I bought do not hug the screen at the edge on the passenger side. I am returning them to wiperblades.co.uk
Think I will just plump for the best looking quality standard ones with a spoiler of the driver's side.

Mine are the same, but they wipe ok and stay on at speed.
I am slightly more disapointed with the clip for attaching them.
I will probably go back to OE ones myself unless i can find better quality aero blades.

mine are like that on the E46 when at the rest position by about an inch:eek: but once working they wipe the whole area of the windscreen:cool: but can squeak a bit:(
