ok so can any one tell me the name of a tv program that was on it the 90s

the story line behind it was

it was a game you played over the net where you had to go around killing people it was set as if it was a real place, real life and time in the game but what you did in the game realy hapened on the street

i can rember there was a police man playing the game trying 2 solve the crimes in it as well

so dose any one have a clue what i am on about ???

dose any one know the name of it ???

nope it was like a mini sereis it was some thing like the net or some thing like just realy annoying cos i can mind it but not the god dam name of it
