I think i have an old bog standard 3 spoke from when i got the JCW, dunno if it'd fit and you'd need an airbag module for it... Could try it and see if you like? (if it doesn't, id give you the money back and just send me it back :P)

Cool, Nice speedy reply.
As long as its a facelift version then im happy. Would just need to scource out an airbag for it.
Any ideas on Prices? theres one on ebay at the moment with airbag :p

Its from my cooper, which is an april build 2005, it is a facelifted cooper not sure if bmw in their wisdom decided to change anything between the cooper/one... Haven't a clue on cost, link me to the ebay one and ill try work something out (the airbag modules quite pricey from dealers if i remember, £80 or something)

Yeh yours must be the facelift type.
Min has the 2 spoke wheel in which I don't really like the look of :p plus its not leather. Is yours leather?

Mines is exactly the same as that (as memory serves, also mine doesnt have a dent in badge... ;)), its "Leather" but its not... Its fake leather
I would check into it though as im positive i remember load of problems when trying to get a 3 spoke on a car with 2 spoke

A quick search on mini2 reveals that your right.
Going from a 2 spoke to a 3 spoke is infact a c*** however it can be done. I am going to get in touch with my dealer and some Mini specialists e.g mikey etc.
Anything else spare kicking about :p

Umm loads of bits, but mostly standard lol... Dunno what fits and what doesn't as when i had a glance it looked as if a lot of it was "broken" off rather than taken off...
What you after?
OMP Upper brace, pipercross viper induction, "chrome" bootlid?

Ryan, I had a JCW wheel fitted by Harry Fairbairn to replace my crappy old plastic 2 spoke wheel, i think they only charged me around £50...worth it cos I was a bit scared of the airbag going off in my face. They didn't make out that it was a big job or anything.
Baz...Will an R56 wheel fit in an R50?? I wouldn't be overly surprised if they had a slightly different fitment, but if it fits let me know! (cos I'll keep my JCW wheel for a possible future R56 ;)) I don't know how easy it is wiring up the multi function buttons, I think the stereo controls are pretty simple by the looks of things, but I think the cruise control might be a bit more difficult to do.
