Can people let me know how many mpg they're getting with the new Cooper S.

Around 39mpg Jason has told me. Short distances at a time. Hope it helps.

Long motorway journeys, I got as much as 45mpg keeping to about 80mph

round town etc, varied between 35 to 40 mpg :D

VERY good for a turbo car. and will be better now with the stop/start technology (if you chose to leave it switched on).

37mpg-ish for us. But Auto trannie's are less economical.:rolleyes:

30-33mpg....though that is lots of short journeys. 45mpg on a run. It is excellent for such a quick wee car.

When I was going up and down the A68 most days I was getting about 45mpg. Around the town about 35mpg

Managed to get 50.1mpg on a run down to Glasgow from Stirling on a very quiet Sunday morning sticking to 60mph :D :D

Normal on a run is 46-48mpg which i'm well happy with :D ;)

we got 42.9mpg on Crombers run today, how's that.
