Also you can make spec sheets up for your minis if you want to display on car as per last year. Finally bring yourself a seat to sit on and also the sunshine lol. Barbeques are also welcome lets hav some good banter and enjoy the day.

Got our tickets today so all set glad we did. I am off on my holidays next week the week before the show cant believe it my car is going to be manky heading to fort william for the week camping lol. Andy, we were planning on joining in your convoy as you went along the A8 towards Ingleston. There's a couple of lay-by's just after newbridge roundabout which a police camera van often sits in. Was planning on sitting in that and tagging on behind as you pass. Would also keep in touch with Craig so he can let us know of your impending arrival. You wouldn't need to pull in, we'd just pull out.

What sort of time will you be passing? Or are you going in a completely different entrance?

I know where you are talking about (Ratho Station, just on the A8). Last year we went into the next field and in the Arch Way made of Bricks etc... The year before we went in the main entrance by the Bank's (just next to the car auction place you know. ;))

So either way, we won't be going far before turning off... It should all be signposted as per last year... Will be taking the radios anyway just to keep in touch. :cool:

we should be passing about 08:45hrs as it doesn't take long to come from South Queensferry.

As far as I can work out from what Andy J has put down, we can bring some food and cook on a bbq, however he hasn't confirmed what food people are bringing or who is bringing a bbq. :confused:

A few things to note

On arrival to the west gate entrance (follow signs for club cars on A8) you will be guided onto stand.

You will be given a club display pass which you must display on your windscreen on entering the show ground and also drivers will get green bracelets which they must wear as this is your personal ID to the show

We have access to our stand until 9.30am thereafter no show cars are granted access

Show times are 10am to 5pm and no cars will be allowed to enter or exit during this time.
No engines to be running at anytime during the show

ALL SHOW CARS MUST REMAIN ON SITE UNTIL THE GENERAL PUBLIC LEAVE DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUES

ALL BOOTS ARE TO BE CHECKED ON ENTRY TO SHOW

The shine was taken off today by the organisation of the event (Not Ajamesj, but the Show themselves) They made us wait for 45 mins to get in, DESPITE us all having tickets already and passes. That meant that when we did get in, the stand we had been given wasn't big enough for the 14 cars that we had. Asked one of the event staff and he said "what do you want me to do about!" :ragin: Absolutely shocking attitude when between us we had given them over £200 and without us turning up, they would have no show. :frown: They also said they would be checking all the boots, however they to my knowledge didn't check any of ours...


The second thing is that they said that there was no alcohol allowed (for obvious reasons), however the lot next to us proceeded to break out the Strongbow, Lager and Buckfast from the minute they got in and got plastered and general made a nuisance of themselves. None of the event staff seemed to be bothered about all the people openly drinking in front of them. :ragin:
