Just passed he 50,000 mile mark, mid-week. Been battering up the miles over the last year & a wee while to go before retirement next year. Any other big milers out there ?

Mines turned 19000 yesterday...and found myself taking a photo with my phone...is that sad? :o

So how do you find out that what the average milage should be for say an 04 car?

S'only been like that since October last year :D:D:D

I think average mileage is about 10K per year. So mini should have about 30 - 36,000 if 04 plate.

Wow, that's a hell of a mileage, Sheilz. I don't think I've ever kept a car long enough to get beyond 50k

That's why I bump my gums about miserable mileage allowance:mad: though to be honest a heck of a lot of them have been of the fun variety:D:D:D
I just never tire of driving it:cool:

Talking of mileage Jackie's been told her allowance is about to change, to be blunt is a huge drop and a complete bombshell. However on the upside we might be returning to the MINI fold with a lease car instead of the veccy.

Don't get me wrong I love the 3.0 diesel but there's a chance of a fully spec'd Clubman S for £50 a month :D

Just slightly off topic...but if your work pays you a mileage allowance less than 40p a mile, you can claim the most of the difference back from the taxman. My work used to pay 13p per mile and we all did this (it's now aggregated at source using some complex matrix I don't even claim to understand!)
