I'll miss the snow, I doubt we'll get as much down here as we did in Turriff. Although you never know we are at 850ft so fingers crossed. :D

Update: We've had about an inch of wet snow whilst we were out shopping this afternoon. Came home everything was covered, nearly slid into the garage door. Snow tyres on the way though....

Just a bit of a heads up really but there seems to be a slight chance of snowfall for higher ground in Scotland and Northern England for Christmas.

It'll probably go titus verticus b4 then though.

Been chucking it down all day in Gala. About 6" of the fluffy white stuff in some sheltered spots. Roads dept having trouble keeping on top of it all.

First chance I've had to get out with the camera, 'cos it's been snowing all day.

We've not had as much snow as you Andy, but about 3-4" they did say the borders would be the worst today

If you look closely...I think you can see that old dear on her wheelchair...still on fire by the looks of it....and passing her(because he is the fastest thing on snow today)...VB on his sleigh:confused: ;) :D

We seem to be one of the few places to get snow today. 5 miles down the road in Durham there's only rain!

Snowing like hell in the Borders, but only once you get over 150m or so. Below that we're getting some sort of wet slushy dirty crap. Horrible stuff. And slippy as hell.:mad:

The Caravan was snug enough. It was the drive up the A9 on Friday not long after we left the House of Bruar it was wild gusting gales driving snow
