after much debate (in my own head) and against everything I have said before.... I will be picking up 55 plate Impreza WRX silver with full scooby body kit 17in wheels, up rated brembos with 6 pot calipers and a decent exhust....

boy oh boy it's bloody quick...........:D

should get it in a couple of weeks, all depends on the DVLA

not going for the ppp kit (yet) one is for insurance and two it is fast enough without it, 0-60 5.5 seconds, 0-100 14 seconds, how much performace do you need on an open road, would be fair to say i will have enough:D

but i am sure after a year i will want an up-grade of some form;)

I hope your not paying £15k for it, you can get a brand new unregistered one from motorpoint for £14.5.

In fact they have the new WRX hatch for £16k but who'd buy one of those.....

cheers for this, no, i did not pay anything like the £15k, before i went to see them it was reduced to 14.5, then they offered me 9k for the S - 02 plate with 56.5k miles on the clock. Best offer i had appart from that was £8k from honda and the scooby garage in perth was being cheeky by only offering £7k...

so taking the above into account and the fact that a private sale would only get £8kish for the S, the deal works out at approx £13.5k for the scooby

sorry ment to say the trade for the S would be crap for these, so the price would be more.....

Sounds like you got a reasonable deal. I got good trade in values on both my Brabus and the A2 TDI from Motorpoint both were £500 over book value.
