We went to Menzies to see it today ( Fab buffet , was stuffed when we left). Nice car but don't think we will be getting one as we BOTH agree it will take something special to get us away from MINI as the car/brand/runs/meets/people on runs make the whole thing special for us, just don't think you can get that anywhere else:D .
Think the Broon pic may come back soon( eh Crombers), what do you all think. if I get 20 posts saying yes it will make a return:)

Post the pic
As for having the coupe, most run organisers, including me, allow non mini's to participate ;) if you really want one, go for it :)

Yeah I still join in on some runs ;) ... but I wouldn't swap a Mini for a 1-Series tho.

as for the 1'er Coupe I liked the one I sat in the 135i all for 29K odd I think and faster than the old M3.
When you think of the level of trim quality and panel gaps alot better than a well specced Cooper S me thinks.:p ;)

My car is going in tomorrow to get the alloy repaired (BMW scratched it!) so will nose then. I'm intrigued, I have to be honest. I wasn;t convinced by the looks at first, the 3/4 doesn't work on paper for me, but will see it in the flesh and make a decision.

It is a heck of a lot better looking than the 5 door hatch, I like it.

Still prefer the look of the 3 series coupe.. just not the extra ££ to get one.

But is it better looking than the outgoing 3 series coupe? Now, being slightly biased as I own one, I don't think it is.

Agreed, plus everyone will know you where too tight to buy a 3 series coupe  :D :D :D

Well, I saw it today in the flesh and I'm still not convinced. It's the 3/4 aspect on the roofline to the boot - it looks kind of squashed in to me and I just don't like it. The rest of the car though is superb.
Will I buy one? Not convinced. It might grow on me. But right now I'd rather have a 5 door - more practical, same engines.

Well i just specd up a 123d with a few options, nothing mad, similar spec to the mini. £32,000... Ouch
Thats a shed load of money for a small car.
Nice car mind but i would be waiting till i could pick up a 3 year old one for under £15k

Tell me about - the dealer had a 135i which was the best part of 36K. It even had awful lemon yellow leather. I mean, it's a lot of car, but 36K is serious money - you can get a Boxter for that.

Way too much, there has got to be better cars for that money!
That will do very badly on depreciation too, I bet!
