Brake pedal noise...

Anybody else on here had or have a noise coming from the brake pedal?

I did, it happened every time I released the brake pedal after using it. It's a metal to metal sound, I knew to have a look at the brake light switch to see if it had moved and it had, so pushed it back in and it stopped making the noise then after a little period it starts again, so pushed it back in AGAIN etc etc.

Got it fixed @ the garage last weekend with a new brake light switch being fitted. But lo and behold its come back tonight on my way home from work...

So anybody on here have any Idea what this could be? And how to cure it properly?

Comes and goes for me, started it after about 8months of having it. You release the brake pedal and its like its clicking into place or catching on something, i think it just seems to either wear a bit or slackens and ends up with a bit of play on its bracket/mount thing and clipping part of the clutch pedal part etc.

Ignorance is bliss as they say ;)
