I'd rather the car got chipped 'in action' when it was enjoying itself than geting reversed into in a car park or something. As for the route? I'm easy. Ask anybody. As long as it's in daylight, and the weather's not TOO crappy (eg snowdrifts, sheet ice etc...), it's fine by me.

Another fab (if manky) day out with the gang! Thanks Rob & Christine for sorting everything so that we could all enjoy it. Wasn't the food great value too? The quick (once we got in! That's because we just can't drive slowly and arrived early!) and friendly service was also appreciated.

Went home via the Jet Wash, just to remind myself what colour my car should be........ AND only TWO stone chips in the windscreen this year. Things are looking up.

As Elfman said what a great day, and it can only get better with the Brokeback mountain run coming soon, plenty dark tunnels but better watch for the holes in the road on that run;) , just dont drop anything and bend down to pick it up Tony/Euan.
Fantastic day had by the Nicol clan, Kerr did feel a little unwell at the end due to the great twisty roads:D but he recovered in no time. What can you say about the food, £5 for 3 courses and you were stuffed after it ( Thanks Kerr for pinching my soup).
Will defo be back next year on this and the next one this year Rob is thinking of doing. The moon would have been smoother than some of the roads today though:) , yup we did get stone chipped today but thats what ****tail sticks are for. Good to see Craig at the end and he even had time to wash his car after arriving or did he have a huge rainmate on it driving down, good effort my man.
Well thats all, oh I wonder if those 2 dogs are well after all the choc's I fed them ( parp):D

Home safe after a great run. Pace just right for the conditions. Not too many cars on the road to get in our way. Food was fabulous value and as nobody from "the borders" were there, the service was spot on. As I said, "Mom's wine bill was greater than everyone's food" :D :D
Great to hear that Tony is organising a run, no stopping of though to "pick up some nice sheep" ;) ;)
