R56 Bright Bulbs

Hi folks

Can anybody advise on some decent aftermarket headlamp bulbs for the R56 please? They seem really weak and now with the darker nights I'm finding it even more annoying.

Next time I think I'll be going for the xenon upgrade!

Loads of options..depends if you want to be legal or put in higher power ones...

And if you order the philips ones you get replacement ones for the side lights free.

Has anyone got first hand experience of the Philips X-Treme Power H4? Want to kee pit legal, so blue bulbs are out.

Nope, no experience, I was also not a tight wad and opted for the Xenon ones ;)

Though a couple of cars back I put some Philips ones in my BMW...and was amazed by the difference from the standard ones. If I was in your position I would probably go for the "Philips X-Treme Power H4" as well.

And I wasn't a tight wad - just that I bought a cancelled order so I could get it within 3 days!!

(although I would still have been too tight to shell out on the xenons :o)
