As a dog owner I hate this time of year.

2 of my dogs don't bother but the other 2 hate them

why they just don't sell them a day before the 5th I have no idea.

I see the animal loving Heather McCartney splashed out 10grand on fireworks and killed her neighbours dog.

I know what you mean Fi. A few years ago this was a problem for us. Minstral is now so deaf he doesn't hear them at all, so not so much a problem. And our cats are house cats and I doubt they'd wake if an earthquake hit.

Got to say I'm in the lucky band, ma wee bitch isn't bothered with them at all - thankfully :)

It's simple Fi why they sell them so early - To rip of joe public and make a flippin fortune  Oh and give the mutant neds out there something 'cool' to play with   ;)

I hate that and I hate kids that come to your door and expect money / sweets / Buckfast for doing nothing other than standing on the doorstep looking uglier than usual!

Glad I got that one out the way...

I find that shouting trick and chasing them down the street with an axe whilst wearing a blood stained shirt really gets Halloween off on the right foot......

Elliott is sometimes bothered by fireworks and sometimes not, weird. Must depend on what sort of mood he's in.......

Yep, there's no need to sell explosives now.
The Health 'n' Safety taleban need to crack down on this one.

Jet is pretty deaf now, she's getting old, and doesn't bother, but it used to bother her, and her sadly no longer with us sister.

LOL our mutt loves fireworks. Whenever she hears them she's up on the back of the armchair looking out the window tail going nineteen to the dozen. I hate them coz the muckle heavy brute that she is tears the fabric with her weight pulling the back down. Grr!
Last year I missed halloween but my significant other who likes to get right into the spirit of things  taped black bags over the windows and pretended to be oot! Old misery guts :(:D:D

No longer have a Dog worrying problem, but still have the cats at home. And we're working until 8.30 too.

Came home to find the dog alias the cart horse perched up on the back of my armchair watching them out of the window. One day that mutt is going to cotton onto the fact that she's not a dainty wee dog like a Yorkie :frown:
