Ok I've gone and done it
My Mini is going, after getting the bug for changing my car after having the R56 S for 5 days.
I looked into getting another Mini, but couldn't quite make the mental leap to spend £22k on a car the same spec as mine, epecially knowing the depreciation on it was like a lead balloon.
Dealers tryin to justify that Mini's have great residuals. Yeah right, like for like and after 14,000 miles and 2 years the difference would pay for a decent 'normal' car.
Anyway enough of the babbling, I should have the Halo sidelights, and my spare set of S-spokes up for sale soon, should anyone be interested.
Oh and how the h*ll did I miss all the Minis at knockhill on Sunday, I was there and never saw a thing!
Are 'previous' Mini owners still welcome on here? ;)

I traded my S for a 3 series coupe - very different cars but no real regrets.
Watch the spec though - needs leather on a BMW. There are also LOADS of cars out there - be picky.

Very Nice any interior pics. I've got my eye out for a E46 either a 330CI Coupe of a M3 Coupe just depends on cost of car and insurance for the M3 as I have 6 points.

Sorry no interior pics at the moment, I did look at an M3 Coupe the insurance wasn't too bad for it, but my Insurance company declined an M3 Convertible, 330 convertible was ok but with an extra £100 XS. The 325 Convertible is exactly the same to insure as the MCS

Ok not to bad for insurance then. I have been speaking to a few guys on another forum and they are saying anything for £800 upwards for a M3 maybe their PC don't help as they were in England.

I was quoted an extra £160 from now til August for the M3 Coupe, but with extra XS of £200. And thats with a ban for speeding thats not quite 3 years old yet.
I do like the Z4, but unfortunately its got nowhere to put the 2 kids, well there's always the boot, but would mean not being able to put the top down! :p

Fi, for me and Me Julie we are just over £400 for fully comp on the M3, SO, you are looking for an M3 then

I like your new motor! I wanted a 325 but can't afford the petrol bills when I'm doing 1000 miles a week, so have to make do with the 2.2 :-)
Bloke in my road has just got an E46 M3, black, looks the business. Still looks better than the brand new M3 if you ask me.
Fi, what about a ClubSport if you can't find an M3?

That'll be the colour known on the E46 as...
Silver grey metallic
I know this, as my last car was that colour! Looks great with the red nappa leather if you can find one, but that's one of the more expensive combinations as it looks great (the same interior with black is the same).
Actually, BS didn't you have an M3 that colour?
This is a nifty site for working out colours of cars.

My mate had an M3 that colour. He made money on it as it was such a desirable combination.
